Welcome home to this moment.
Welcome yourself home right now,
To this moment.
I'll invite you to bring one hand to your belly,
One hand to your heart,
Breathing into your hands,
Feeling your heart beating,
Feeling your breath expanding,
Exhaling,
Ah,
The sound of ah,
Settling into your hips,
Into your feet,
Arriving,
Arriving into this moment,
Where life is,
Where you can meet life,
Creation,
Beauty,
Enoughness,
Ah,
With a ha,
Right into your hands,
Breathing into your hands,
And exhale with a ha,
Softening your face,
Perhaps bringing your hands up to your face,
Or up to your throat,
Right along the lines of the vagus nerve,
Running down the sides of your throat,
Up into your face,
Softening your jaw,
Softening your cheeks,
Softening your brow,
And perhaps even rubbing your face gently,
Rubbing your scalp,
Breathing,
Stretching your arms,
Ah,
With the sound of ha,
Moving your body as if it were a tree in the wind,
Allowing yourself to gently move with your breath,
Gently stroking your body in between to assure your nervous system that right now,
You're safe.
Right now,
I'm safe.
There's a vagus nerve cluster at the solar plexus,
Right where the ribcage meets itself.
You can gently rub this area,
Breathing into it,
Breathing into the backside of the body right there,
Too.
I'm just inviting an unwinding,
Ah,
An unwinding of the nervous system right now,
Ah,
With your breath,
And bringing one hand back to the belly,
One hand to your heart,
Awareness in your feet,
Awareness in the crown of your head,
Inviting your shoulders to soften,
Holding yourself in a soft way at your belly and your heart,
Feeling your heart beating,
Your breath expanding through your belly to touch your hand,
Your jaw softening,
Your tongue softening,
Everything softening in this moment.
Just continuing to notice where you might be able to soften a little bit more.
Let your arms relax.
Simply inviting yourself to soften into this moment,
Exactly how it is.
Continuing to ride your breath as if you're riding a wave,
Becoming more aware of your breath.
Let your body have a little movement,
Rolling your shoulders,
Rolling your wrists,
Rolling your ankles,
Moving your spine side to side,
Front to front,
However it feels good to move your body.
Right now,
Just move your body in a way that feels,
That feels good,
That feels snake-like,
Smooth,
Or maybe shaking it out.
So many mammals,
They shake after something traumatic has happened to them.
Us as humans,
We've been conditioned to hold it all in.
So perhaps shake for a moment,
The sound of,
Might feel a little silly,
And that's a good thing.
Might feel a little,
Make you feel a little uncomfortable,
And if so,
Just then hold your vagus nerve again,
That vagus nerve cluster right at your solar plexus,
Or right up at your throat,
With your hands along the side of your throat,
Or right at your belly,
And then shake again.
And move like you're in an ocean wave,
As if you're a seaweed in a kelp forest,
Or move like the branches of a tree.
And again,
Back to holding yourself.
Right at your belly,
Right at your heart,
Or anywhere that feels natural and normal.
Maybe just hugging yourself,
Wherever it feels good to touch your body,
Wherever it calms your mind,
Calms your nervous system.
And breathing,
And exhaling again.
Welcoming yourself home.
Welcoming yourself to this new moment,
This new opportunity to live.
Forgiving the past,
Forgo,
Let it go.
And arriving into life,
Letting all which is dead,
All which has come before,
Letting it die,
Letting yourself grieve it,
If need be.
Letting it go,
And arriving into this moment.
Taking responsibility for your nervous system,
For your mind.
Good job.
Breathing into your hands,
Breathing into your feet.
Filling your body with prana,
With mana,
With breath.
Exhaling with a high.
Remembering now how to attune,
And that it is our responsibility to attune ourselves every day.
Thank you.
Thanking yourself,
I thank you for this practice,
This ability to cross between realms.
Through these devices,
Through the ether,
Through the fire,
Through the crystal,
Crystalline structure,
Through vibration.
Bending time and space,
We meet now in this virtual way,
This virtual sangha.
Filling ourselves up with benevolence,
With goodness.
Feeling goodness with us now.
Turning our lips up,
And a little bit of a smile.
Smiling and breathing.
This is something magical in our brains,
Alchemical.
Something happens.
We move into the frontal cortex.
We move into feeling connected.
When we smile,
When we breathe,
When we relax,
The animal mind says,
Ah,
I'm relaxed.
I can relax.
Now I can move into my high mind,
My creative mind,
My connective mind,
My body.
My body in which I create,
My hands,
In which I love,
In which I prepare beauty,
In which I tend life.
So rubbing our hands now.
Breathing into our bodies,
The full body.
Relaxing a little bit more now than it was before.
Welcoming ourselves fully home to this moment.
Opening our eyes,
Noticing something beautiful.
Turning the head like an owl from side to side.
Just noticing something beautiful.
Maybe closing your eyes again if you need to.
Hands resting at the heart in gratitude.
Thank you for this life.
Thank you for this moment.
Thank you for this life.
Thank you for this moment.
Call upon my inner capacity to expand,
To be able to receive more beauty,
More goodness,
More connection from this life,
More creativity.
Letting go of all that has been.
Letting go of my false memory.
Letting go of my trauma prints.
Letting the nervous system fully unwind now.
Fully unwind.
And as you do,
Stretching out the arms,
Rolling the wrists,
Stretching your fingers down in a low V.
Letting your neck move from side to side.
Feeling yourself more here,
More embodied,
More available for this life.
Thank you.
Thank you for your practice.
Thank you for your practice.
