There are so many times during the living of our days where we are Transitioning - transitioning from one thing to the next, from one person to the next, from home to our working life, from our working life to home and so on. Often we carry energy with us into the next part of our day or experience and this impacts us in our ability to be fully present. So this short meditatoin can be done anytime and almost anywhere you are transitioning, to become aware of the energy in the form of thoughts and emotions that you carry with you, practice letting them go so that you can transition into the next part of the day fully and mindfully - living and loving every moment. You can even do this while commuting - eyes open if you are driving (obviously) - Enjoy...

As you are transitioning from one part of your day to the next,

It's powerful to pause,

Connect with your breath and realign your energy.

So in this moment,

With eyes open if you are driving or walking or closed if you are seated,

Bring your awareness to your breath in this moment and simply observe the breath as it enters and as it leaves your body.

Simply connect to the coming and going of this life giving flow.

Now slow down each outward breath and practice deepening every inward breath.

With every breath,

You're calming the brain and mind.

Now with every inward breath,

Allow your abdomen to rise easily and naturally.

With every outward breath,

Allow your abdomen to fall gently back towards the spine.

With each breath,

Observe the rise and fall of the belly area,

Further calming your brain and mind,

Supporting you to transition your energy on this day.

You might even place a hand on the abdomen,

Feeling the rise and fall with every breath.

Now as you continue breathing mindfully and slowly in this moment,

Bring your awareness to your mind and a thought or emotion that you're holding onto that is not serving you.

Perhaps something that's happened on this day.

As you breathe slowly,

Practice identifying this thought,

This emotion.

Just breathe.

Now with whatever clarity you have accessed in this moment about this thought or emotion,

With every exhalation,

Practice letting it go.

As you exhale,

Drop your shoulders a little,

Relax your upper body,

Extend every exhalation,

Let go of what no longer serves you.

Allow yourself the gift of letting it go.

Believe in this moment that this thought,

This emotion,

Whatever you notice within you and that does not serve you,

That you've grabbed onto from this day.

Believe in this moment that all it is is gray smoke.

Let it go with every breath.

If the mind wanders at any time,

Bring your mind back to the coming and going of your breath.

Now feeling just a little lighter,

Allow these reflections to guide the rest of your day.

What matters most to me?

What matters most in this moment?

Breathe and simply allow these reflections to settle into that wise,

All-knowing place within.

How do I wish to feel?

How will I choose to show up as I transition into the next part of my day?

Breathe and feel these questions.

The beauty is in the asking.

Simply by asking,

Do you once again reconnect with the vision that exists within you?

Breathe and feel.

And when you're ready,

Enjoy and show up fully and graciously for the rest of your day.
