Your body is trying to grab your attention with its aches and pains. They are a message. This meditation is designed to help you simply notice and acknowledge these aches and pains. Because sometimes you simply have to be with them in order for the body to process and move the energy through.

Hello,

Hello.

I'm Brenda.

As a holistic healer,

My soul business is designed to help empaths and seekers like you to heal your body,

Your mind,

Body,

Soul system,

Guiding you back to your truth and empowering you to lean into the life you are designed to live.

I'm so glad you're here.

I believe that our body holds thoughts,

Feelings,

Beliefs,

And negative energy that builds up over time.

Eventually,

Our physical body no longer has the capacity to hold all of this energy and tries to get our attention through physical pain,

Aches,

And other behavioral symptoms.

Ezra Taft Benson said,

The condition of the physical body can affect the spirit.

And when your physical body consists of aches and pains,

Your spirit can become negatively affected really quick.

Wouldn't you agree?

Your body is trying to grab your attention with these aches and pains.

It's sending you a message.

Are you listening?

Or are you ignoring and just trying to continue to push through?

I used the meditation we're going to do in a few minutes to help me process some profound grief that got stuck in my body.

This simple practice a few times a week helped me to shift that grief until my body let it go and took all the aches and pains with it.

So my friend,

It's time to go within,

But first I want you to grab your journal and a pen.

Make sure your door is closed so there's no distractions.

And go ahead and get comfortable.

Grab your blanket and get cozy.

And when you're ready,

Close your eyes.

Settling into this moment as you breathe in and out through your nose.

Slow and steady breaths in and out your nose.

The edges of your eyes soften.

Your jaw is slightly open.

Your shoulders drop.

Simply focusing on your breath in and out through your nose.

Your thoughts will come and go.

And if you start thinking about this or that,

Simply come back to your breath by silently repeating in on the in breath and out on the out breath.

The rhythm of your breath helps your body release and let go of any tension.

Now taking a longer,

Slower,

Deeper breath in,

Holding at the top for a moment and exhale through your mouth.

Feeling the tension dissolve as your body softens.

And do this one more time.

Take a deep breath in and hold at the top and then exhale through your mouth.

Eyes melt.

Shoulders drop.

Thoughts pass by.

Feel the rising and the falling of each breath.

Notice if you need to shift or move.

Getting even more comfortable right where you are.

Your breath is slow and steady.

Now softly turn your attention to your heart,

Which is the connection to your body,

Your mind,

Body,

Soul system,

And the complete essence of you.

Your body is going through something.

It's grabbing your attention with these aches and pains.

You feel them when you move.

Maybe you have an idea of what your body is going through,

Or maybe you don't have a clue.

You simply feel the aches and pains every day.

So let's take a few moments to simply notice and acknowledge this.

Letting your body know that you're not here to fix it,

That you're not in denial of it.

Instead you're choosing to lean in,

To notice and acknowledge the aches and the pains that you feel.

So now shift and move around right where you are,

Moving different parts of your body.

What did you notice?

Was there a tightness somewhere,

An ache or a pain?

Focus on that area that grabbed your attention first.

And then just be with the tension,

The ache or the pain,

Whatever you noticed,

Simply be with it.

And acknowledge it's there.

Now taking a deep breath in and holding at the top.

Then exhale through the mouth.

Your eyes soft,

Shoulders drop.

Now with this next breath,

Silently repeat being on the in-breath and with this on the out-breath.

Working with this.

Now shift and move again,

Moving a different part of your body this time.

Paying attention to what you notice.

Where's the tightness,

The ache or the pain that grabbed your attention this time?

And then focus on that area.

Just being with this tension,

This ache,

This pain.

Simply acknowledging it's there.

Everything you've noticed.

Now taking a deep breath in,

Holding at the top and exhale through your mouth.

And on this next breath,

Silently repeat being on the in-breath and with this on the out-breath.

Breathing with this.

Breathing in being and breathing out with this.

Some of these last few breaths,

Trust your body to release whatever it's ready to let go of now.

Sometimes just noticing and acknowledging is all your body needs to let it go.

So with slow and steady breaths,

Letting go with every exhale.

Feeling your body continue to soften as you breathe in and out your nose.

Letting go with every exhale.

And now coming back into your heart.

Breathing again to this inner strength,

This power within.

The connection to your mind,

Body,

Soul system.

Allow gratitude to fill your heart for these moments of just being with us.

Now taking a little deeper breath in as you listen from within for any last bits of guidance and awareness.

Now allowing the energy of awareness to travel up into your feet,

To your legs,

Into your body.

Bringing more and more awareness of the present into each moment.

Becoming even more present in your physical space as you open and close your hands.

And with this next breath,

Slowly open your eyes.

Welcome back.

Now before you rush up and grab your phone or begin thinking about the next thing you have to do,

I invite you to simply stay right where you are for a few more minutes.

Allow this experience to fully integrate into your mind,

Body,

And soul.

This may look like sitting with your eyes closed and soaking in this new awareness for a few more minutes.

Or it may be spent journaling and getting out all the thoughts swirling in your head.

Or maybe you feel compelled to go outside and take a short walk and breathe in some fresh air.

Your body will guide you to what's right for you today.

Follow its nudge.

Until next time,

My friend.

Blessings.
