Study 1: Meditation's Anti-Aging Properties    There have been thousands of scientifically conducted studies done on meditation with some significant findings. We will focus on several of them throughout these 30 days to help get the conceptual mind excited to meditate too! First up is the amazing anti-aging properties of meditation.    Here are some highlights that show just how powerful meditation can be to make real, life-enhancing changes within the human body.   Meditation decreases levels of Cortisol, which is called the "stress hormone" and it is “age accelerating” by nature. Higher levels of Cortisol can decrease bone density, elevate blood pressure, lower immunity, increase abdominal fat storages.

Let's meditate today on mindfulness,

Taking your meditative posture,

If you can having the back nice and straight and the mind nice and open.

And just start by arriving,

Arriving with your attention into the present moment.

Just breathing in and know that you're breathing in and breathing out and know that you are breathing out.

Give yourself permission to be just right here.

Letting go of planning and rehearsing the future.

Letting go of rehashing the past.

Tuning fully into beingness and fully just being with what this moment has to offer.

Tuning into what is happening now in the body.

What sensations can you tune into that are arising in the body right now?

Tuning so non-judgmentally without desiring anything to be different than what it is.

Just simply looking.

Maybe tuning into where the body is meeting with your seat.

Tuning into any changes of temperature.

Or articles of clothing that may be touching the skin.

Just staying right there.

No judgment.

Breathing with everything just as it is.

Breathing in.

I know that I am breathing in.

Breathing out.

I know that I am breathing out.

I'm really enjoying your meditations but I find the end bell abrupt and it makes me jump every time
