Get out of your head and press the reset button. Whether you have a busy day or a busy mind, come back to your core and allow yourself to feel good again. You will be guided through three steps: 1- nonjudgemental observation (let be), 2- a releasing of tension in the body and mind (let go), and 3 - allowing positivity into your field of consciousness (let in). Taking the time to return to an expansive state of wide-open awareness and appreciation is an important act of self-care.

To begin,

Adopt an alert posture.

You can be either sitting or standing.

Close your eyes and take some conscious breaths.

Step one,

Let be.

Begin by turning your attention inward,

Observing your experience,

Noticing body sensations.

Just observing how it feels to be in your body in this moment.

Also notice how you feel emotionally.

So again,

Just observing and being with what's here.

Observing your experience with a sense of acceptance.

Step two,

Let go.

Notice where you might be holding,

Gripping or resisting in either your body or your mind.

When you notice,

See if you can let go.

Releasing any tension in the body.

Releasing any tension in the mind.

Letting go of any urges.

Letting go of all thoughts.

And observing how it feels in this moment to let go.

Step three,

Let in.

Now let in some light.

Feel yourself opening up to what's good.

Opening up to what feels sufficient or satisfying.

Call to mind something or someone you appreciate.

So stating in your mind what it is,

Who it is,

And seeing it,

Seeing them.

Considering the personal significance,

Why is this thing or this person so wonderful for you specifically?

So breathing in a feeling of gratitude.

Letting that feeling sink into every cell of your body.

Energizing you and influencing you.

Observing how it feels in this moment to let in some light.

And as we close the practice,

See if you can set an intention to carry this light,

This positive energy with you into the next few moments of your day.
