Inviting you to take a comfortable sitting position.
A position that embodies care,
Relaxation and alertness.
Whenever you're ready,
If this feels okay with you,
Closing your eyes.
And turning your attention inwards now.
Inviting you to come in tune with our breathing.
Becoming aware of the breath as it is.
Breathing in and breathing out.
Inhaling nurture and releasing any tension remaining in the body,
If there is any.
Allowing the breath to drop a little deeper.
Perhaps becoming more fully aware of the body breathing now.
You may ask yourselves,
Where in the body I feel the deepest sense of letting go?
Where do I surrender?
Perhaps letting the shoulders relax,
The muscles in our face.
Our sense of pressure with our body making contact with the chair or the floor we are sitting at.
Wherever is this place noticing,
What is this feeling,
Feel like?
How is the surrender and letting go?
Moment by moment.
Breath by breath.
And whenever you feel ready,
Inviting you to visualize a space.
A space where you find peace,
Safety and beauty.
A loving space.
Perhaps somewhere in the beach or in the mountain.
Wherever you receive beauty and you allow yourself to surrender to it.
Maybe also imagining a loved one in this picture.
Someone that naturally makes you smile.
Someone with whom you have a positive relationship.
A parent,
A friend,
A partner,
A pet.
Anyone.
Anyone that you deeply care about and their presence makes this picture more rich.
Makes this picture more meaningful.
Someone that would like to share this beautiful space you've created.
And surrender to this beautiful space.
Both the place and the loved one.
Seeing the inherent beauty of life and acknowledging how this space you created,
Your awareness and the person you have next to you,
Make you feel alive and connected.
This capacity of reconnecting with beauty,
It's almost there for you.
And with an exhale,
Letting this image fade from your awareness and bringing your attention back to your breathing,
Noticing the waves of the breath.
Allowing ourselves to return to the present moment.
By noticing our breath and the sensations of breathing.
One by one.
In your own time,
Letting go of this practice and allowing your eyes to gently open and return to the activities you did before,
Resuming back.
Thank you for your practice today.
