Welcome to this space.

Give yourself a minute to find a comfortable position that works for you.

You might like to grab a cushion to sit on,

Lean against a wall or perhaps sitting back on a chair.

Whatever position you decide to find yourself in,

Allow your spine to be upright.

And in your own time taking a moment for a few deep breaths.

Allowing your body to come into this moment that you have created for yourself.

And when you are ready gently close your eyes.

Perhaps you might notice some sounds that are coming from outside the room.

There might be the sound of traffic,

Perhaps voices or maybe there's nothing noticeable at all.

Whatever sounds you notice allowing them to exist just as they are,

Nothing to change or fix.

And gently bringing your awareness to any sounds that you might hear inside the room.

There might be the sound of a clock ticking,

Perhaps there might be a sound of internal body noises that are heard.

Perhaps there might be some sounds of technology buzzing like a computer.

Or maybe there's nothing noticeable at all.

Whatever you notice allow these sounds to be there as they are,

Nothing to fix or change.

When you are ready bringing your awareness to where your body is in contact with the floor.

Where the earth is beneath you,

Supporting you,

Your feet,

Legs.

Whatever you notice about the support and where your body is in contact with the floor allow this to be present and exist just as it is,

Nothing to change or fix.

And gently noticing whether there's any thoughts that might be running through your mind.

Perhaps there's stressful thoughts,

To-do lists,

A relationship or a situation that might be replaying in your mind.

Perhaps there might be some happy thoughts or thoughts associated with peaceful things that are happening in your world.

Or perhaps there might not be any noticeable thoughts either.

Whatever thoughts are present allow yourself to become curious about them.

Rather than taking the stand of something being good or bad allow the thoughts to simply exist and in gentle curiosity may they be there,

Nothing to fix or change.

And perhaps there might be some feelings associated with the thoughts.

There might be some angry thoughts,

Feelings.

There might be some happy thoughts presented by them.
