Welcome to Day 24 of Insight Timer's Reset and Refresh Challenge.

Your call to break free from the ordinary,

Let go of what's been holding you back,

And step into your life with a fresh perspective.

Let's jump in to today's session.

Welcome to Day 3 of our journey together.

We have been on a great road so far,

Learning how to imagine and envision,

And most importantly,

Design from the future,

A life that we feel excited to live.

And one of the quotes that I actually want to start today's practice with comes from one of my favorite teachers named Catherine Woodward Thomas.

And the quote is,

Healing is the domain of the past,

And transformation is the domain of the future.

Healing is the domain of the past,

And transformation is the domain of the future.

And what that really means is that you can learn everything about why your past was the way it was,

And every story that you needed to know about why it came to be,

And still never change anything about your future.

And that's because to create a new future,

We have to go to the future.

We have to start at the future,

Envisioning a life that is bigger than our circumstances,

That is bigger than the stories that we have about our past,

So we can live a life that we are truly excited about.

And today,

We are going to talk about the third life zone,

Which is all about physical,

Emotional,

And spiritual well-being.

One of the biggest mistakes I made throughout the earliest parts of my life,

Really honestly well into adulthood,

Is not taking care of myself.

I remember priding myself on always having so much to do,

Thinking that if I was always busy,

Then it would make me more successful somehow.

But all the studies show that this is not the way it works,

And honestly,

It's one of the biggest lies we tell ourselves.

We all actually know that being busy does not equate to happiness.

Here's one of the most important tips that I learned about this.

Everyone's always talking about work-life balance,

But I never focus on work-life balance anymore.

Instead,

It's about work-life harmony.

Work-life balance implies that if you do a little bit of this,

Then you got to match it with a little bit of that.

But we all know that that's not the way life actually works.

Harmony instead implies that everything is working and flowing together.

So today,

We are going to explore the three parts of well-being in our practice.

Physical,

Emotional,

And spiritual.

And knowing that when we are well and taking care of ourselves,

It creates more harmony in our lives.

Because this is your vessel,

And it's the only one you got.

So let's begin today's practice.

Go ahead and get cozy,

And place your hands over the center of your chest,

One over the other.

And when you're ready,

Take a deep breath in,

And a deep breath out,

And close your eyes if you're comfortable doing so.

And as we've been doing every day,

We will align our breath with the manifestation breath.

It's three counts in,

Three counts hold,

And three counts out.

Let's just align our breath by taking one full deep breath in together,

And now inhale with me to the count of three.

For one,

Two,

Three.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three.

Again,

Inhale one,

Deeper,

Two,

Three.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale one,

Two,

Three.

Last time,

Inhale one,

Two,

Three.

Hold for one,

Two,

Three.

Exhale one,

Two,

And three.

And go ahead and breathe normally.

And now I'd like you to imagine a future version of yourself,

But this time,

Focusing on your well-being,

Starting with physical well-being.

Fast forward to the future,

And you feel exactly as you've always wanted to feel physically.

What are you doing that brings you joy as you take care of your body?

And then let's transition to emotional well-being.

Notice what you are doing to process and take care of your heart,

Of your emotional well-being.

What is this future you doing to take care of their emotional well-being?

And imagining that as clearly as you can,

Turn a page and imagine what you're doing that keeps you spiritually well.

What are you doing to nourish your spirit?

And now see if you can zoom out and see these three dimensions,

Physical,

Emotional,

And spiritual well-being all playing in harmony.

And just notice how you feel to be living as somebody who is happy and feels well in their body and is vibrant,

Rested,

And alive.

And now,

Whatever you're imagining now,

I want you to push it even bigger.

What would make this vision feel like if it came true,

It was an absolute miracle?

I want you to let yourself go there with me.

What could the future you show you if the vision could get even bigger?

What would make it even more amazing?

Let yourself go there.

Let yourself go there.

And now keeping this beautiful vision in mind,

Whatever is present for you,

I'm going to ask you a question and I want you to answer this question with the first thing that comes to mind.

Here's your question.

What is one tiny step that you can take to move you in the direction of your vision?

What is one tiny step you can take you can take to move you in the direction of your vision?

And take a deep breath in and a deep breath out.

And when you're ready,

I invite you to open your eyes and take a moment now as we've done with all of our practices so far,

Just jot down some notes on what you experienced.

And most importantly,

The action step,

That tiny action step that you can take to start moving yourself in this direction.

Remember a little tiny action step counts.

It doesn't have to be anything big as long as you start moving in the direction of this life that you are designing.

It's been such a joy to practice with you today,

And I will see you on day four,

Our practice all about authentic relationships.

Nice. The key areas, all so closely linked. My physical well being,returning to being fit healthy and able, requires a path of healing and recovery. My emotional well being, returning to calm, hope, living and being loved, the same: here healing in the company of good people. My spiritual well-being is perhaps the strongest at the moment. The need here is to move it into an arena of sharing, not merely solo. Thanks for all you do. Peace and Blessed Be 🙏
