Now that you're ready for release and you've also taken the time to breathe in compassion and acknowledge the aspects of you from the past that are conscious and unconscious,

That have contributed to your anxiety or the stress that you feel in your body.

We're going to take things a little deeper.

I invite you to place one hand on your lower belly and whether you're sitting or lying down,

Exhale all the old air out of your body.

You'll feel your lungs completely deflate as all the stale old air is breathed out.

And then take a nice deep breath in through the nose with the lips gently closed.

All the way down,

All the way down into the lower hips.

And you can tell if you're breathing down into that area because the hand on your lower belly would be lifting with the breath in,

Lowering on the breath out.

So many people feel that constriction in that chest or even a knot above the abdomen,

Right under the rib cage.

So many people find it challenging just to breathe past the ribs,

Past the abdomen and down into the lower belly.

So I want you to notice with your self-awareness right now,

Just notice as you breathe in through the nose,

Where does your breath actually go?

Does it fill into your lungs and your chest is heaving?

Just notice.

Do you actually feel any movement down in the lower belly?

Just notice.

Breathing in and breathing out,

This is getting to know your body and your breath.

Staying with the breath,

You might even like to put one hand on your upper body,

Just let it rest somewhere on your chest,

Just to notice and get that full body awareness.

Breathing in through the nose,

Feeling the air pass your nostrils,

All the way down into the lower belly just as you are.

And even if your breath is only hitting your abdomen or hitting the end of your rib cage,

Just notice that's okay.

So every breath is a new breath and an invitation to go just that little deeper than the last one.

Now I understand this might take a little bit more effort than you're used to.

This is all about letting go and letting in flow.

However,

If you've become so used to anxiety running your show or to the worrying mind running the show,

The essential self,

The deep peaceful self,

The part of you that is in constant flow has been taking a back seat in your life.

So as you breathe in and breathe out,

It's a wake-up call to that part of you to step in and become the master again.

Some say the master of breath is the master of life,

So the more you can regulate your breath,

The more you can regulate your mind.

Staying with the breath all the way in and out,

Just getting to know your breath and feeling it in the body.

It's as though a wind is propelling a sail across the sea.

That very wind is the breath in your body as you breathe in the nose and out,

Taking it a little deeper with each breath.

Breathing in through the nose,

Down into the hips where you might feel your belly rise.

Even pushing the breath down into the lower belly.

Letting yourself really feel the belly expand and letting that lower hand rise and then again letting it go.

It's all about letting go and letting flow.

You don't even have to know whatever it is you are letting go.

All of the tension,

The emotions,

The worries,

The fears that we might have about the future,

They're all living in the muscles of your body.

And as you breathe oxygen in into every cell,

Into the deepest parts of your body,

That mechanism starts to work for you and just starts to let go of that which you no longer need.

Breathing in and out.

Now that you may have found your rhythm,

Now that you may have found your unique flow,

I'm going to invite you to allow yourself to just bring up something that you might be worried about,

Something that has been causing you stress,

Something that you just haven't found a solution to or something that you're avoiding,

Whatever it is that might be playing on your mind.

Go ahead,

Bring that up to your awareness and just as you brought it up to your awareness,

I invite you to invite that thought into the flow and rhythm of your breath.

It's as if you can imagine putting that situation into the warmth of your belly,

Into the furnace of your belly,

Into the movement of the breath of your belly right now.

Breathing in and breathing out.

And it is as if the breath is moving in and out,

Breathing in the resources to help you with that stress in your life and breathing out the worries,

Breathing out the tension,

The redundant tools,

The old and with every breath bringing in new insights,

Bringing in new resources.

You don't have to try to do anything to fix this,

In fact it's just your awareness and bringing it into the flow and rhythm.

Breathing in and letting go and letting flow,

Breathing in and letting go and letting flow.

I invite you to just imagine,

Just imagine all the benefits that would come along with you letting go of having to worry about this.

Just imagine the benefits of what life would feel,

Look like.

How would things look differently tomorrow and the day after?

Just as you breathe in and breathe out.

How would you look at people and how would you talk to them?

What would you think about them?

If you were able to let this go and allow your body to work with you and move beyond if this kind of tension wasn't running it.

I invite you just to imagine as you breathe in and breathe out all the benefits of letting go and letting in.

What colour do all those benefits look like?

Just notice,

Breathing in and breathing out,

What would you allow yourself to let into your life if this kind of tension wasn't running it.

I invite you just to imagine as you breathe in and breathe out all the benefits of letting go and letting in.

What colour do all those benefits look like?

Just notice,

You're doing so well.

Keep breathing into the nose,

Down into the lower belly and letting go.

You can allow the benefits over this time to stay with you for the rest of the day or the rest of the night.

In fact,

If you did have any insights,

Feelings,

I sometimes like to write them down.

Those insights can be great reminders of what the very essence of you,

What your inner self,

What your true voice is trying to tell you.

As with each breath in and out,

You further let go of any tension,

Anxiety and stress and effortlessly move your way into solutions.

Slowly,

Slowly over the next few breaths,

I invite you to start to wiggle your toes.

Thank yourself for entering this space and whether you are falling asleep or continuing with your day,

Very gently you can transition.

We will be covering some shorter tools to manage anxiety in the next track.

You can either stop here or continue with the other techniques.
