Imagine a folder next to you that you could just park these feelings or thoughts into this folder for a moment while you take a few moments out to rest back and reset your day.
Let your senses open into a moment of pure perceiving.
Hearing sounds around you without thinking about them.
Noticing sensations or feelings without thinking about them.
Just a moment of simply perceiving.
Letting go of the past,
Letting go of the future.
Welcoming yourself into this present moment.
Sounds,
Tastes lingering in the mouth,
Smells,
Colors or light.
Set thoughts free for the moment like butterflies floating up above you as you bring attention more down into the heart and belly.
Sensations in the heart and belly with each exhalation,
Inhalation.
The natural expansion of the belly during inhalation and a letting go and releasing on exhaling.
With each exhalation,
A sense of being refreshed.
Feeling the vital energy that's coursing through and animating your entire body.
Each inhalation.
Feel this vital life force that's flowing through the entire body,
Exhaling.
Feeling it in and throughout the entire body.
Sensations of being and well-being.
Sensations of ease and peace deepening with each exhalation.
A letting go into feeling more and more grounded and at ease with each exhalation,
Inhalation.
And take a few moments if it feels right so that each inhalation and exhalation is of equal length.
Inhalation and exhalation each five or six seconds long.
Focusing focusing your entire attention in the breath and counting.
Inhaling one to five,
Pause.
Exhaling one to five,
Pause.
Take a few breaths like this.
Hearing the internal count one to five.
With each inhalation,
Letting attention gather more around the heart and chest or belly.
With each exhalation,
Continuing the counting but feel a sense of ease spreading out like a wave throughout the entire body.
Top of the inhalation,
The count of five.
A momentary pause.
Feel the whole body of sensation.
Exhaling energy spreading and enlivening the whole body as you count one to five on the exhalation.
And a pause at the end of the exhalation.
Feel the whole body pulsing with aliveness and energy.
Letting go of the counting when it feels right,
But continuing feeling the inhalation,
Pause.
Exhalation,
Pause.
Sensations and the life force coursing through the body with each breath.
Staying in this present moment.
Welcoming the sensations that are present without going into thinking.
Taking a moment when you feel razor sharp focus.
When you feel a sense of really feeling grounded,
At ease,
But focused,
Attentive.
Where and how do you experience these as sensation qualities in your body?
When you feel focused,
When you feel grounded energy,
Sense of well-being in the flow.
Notice where and how you feel these in your body and nourish them a bit with the exhalation and inhalation.
Enlivening these feelings of being focused,
Present,
Grounded,
Vitally alive.
And if it feels right,
Set the intention as you go about your day to every once in a while stop.
Have a sense of refreshing.
Coming back into these feelings of feeling laser sharp focus.
Sense of well-being that's grounded and at ease.
A sense of vital energy that you carry with you into the next moment.
The sense of stopping even in the midst of a conversation.
The feeling of stopping inside of you.
You can be continuing the conversation or the activity you're engaged in,
But refreshing this sense of vital energy,
Laser sharp focus,
Grounded well-being.
And when it feels right,
Let your eyes open and feel these qualities of feeling focused,
Grounded well-being.
And when it feels right,
Let your eyes open.
Take in the environment around you in this present moment.
Continuing to nourish this intention,
To feel this sense of life force coursing through the body.
A sense of grounded well-being that you're taking with you into your eyes open state of being.
