Welcome to your Inner Child guided meditation series.
As we begin,
I invite you to sit comfortably in an upright position with your feet on the floor or tucked under you,
Ensuring that your back is pressed firmly against a chair back or a cushion.
Place your palms either face up or down on your lap,
However you are most comfortable.
You have arrived.
Relax your breath.
Relax your posture.
Begin to close your eyes or maybe you gaze gently towards the ground in front of you.
Begin to settle in to the natural rhythm of your breath.
Inhale through your nose.
Fill up.
Listen for your heartbeat.
Open mouth exhale.
Let it go.
Notice as your belly starts to rise.
Hair and head relax.
Forehead relax.
Nose,
Jaw,
Teeth relax.
Neck,
Shoulders relax.
Heart open.
Relaxed.
Deeper and deeper relax.
Now as I begin to count backwards from four,
Imagine each number in your mind's eye and with each number you go deeper and deeper,
Deeper and deeper relax.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
Now imagine your small childhood self in your heart center.
Your small childhood self in your heart space.
Take note of what you're wearing.
Your emotional expression.
And how old you were.
As well as any additional emotions or feelings that come up for you here.
Try not to judge it.
Just observe.
Now imagine your small child self traveling down from your heart space into the center of your being.
Making way down through the lower back and the front of the abdomen.
Your small childhood self continues to make way down through your hips and your thighs.
Your kneecaps.
Your childhood self continues to travel down through your calves and your ankles.
And as your childhood self approaches your feet,
You notice the bottoms of your feet begin to open and root down connecting to earth's center.
Your small self travels down through the roots beneath your feet.
Past the seven layers of the earth's crust.
Through the fast flowing liquid.
You flow like water around all of the obstacles.
You are safe.
You are protected.
And you are secure.
Mother Gaia welcomes you as you arrive to the center of the earth.
Upon entering,
You notice the soil is cool and slightly wet beneath your feet.
You look at the piles of soil shimmering all around you.
You begin to scoop up as much of the soil as you possibly can carry in your arms.
And as you gather the soil,
You notice it is pure energy,
Life force,
Prana.
You touch your nose to the soil,
Feeling the coldness on the tip of your nose.
Eskimo kisses to the soil.
You smile.
You feel that life force energizing you,
Lifting your spirits,
Bringing you the utmost joy.
Glistening soil radiating out golden rays of light all around you.
Above and below.
From sky to earth and back again.
You squeeze the soil ever so slightly in your arms.
Just when you are catapulted forward,
Onward and upward,
Through the earth's roots,
At that lightning speed,
Your childhood self has returned to the openings of your feet.
You see and feel white golden light coming up from the earth and into your feet.
Feel it move all the way up through your body and out of the top of your head,
Back down to your feet to start again.
Like a fountain.
Feel the vibrant white light energy flowing through you.
Nourishing you.
Replenishing you.
Restoring all areas of attention,
Aches and pains.
Promoting healing and balance.
That golden white light is healing you from the inside out.
Your childhood self travels back up through the feet,
The ankles and shins.
Clearing out any tweaks or twinges in your kneecaps.
Slowly traveling up through the thighs and the hips.
Making way through the lower back.
Wrapping around to the lower abdomen.
And the upper ribcage.
Notice now as your childhood self arrives back to your heart space.
Healing you up with ample amounts of love and compassion,
Peace and serenity.
For yourself and for all of those you come across who enter your space.
Know that your childhood self is always here for you.
Take a moment to inquire as to whether your childhood self has any messages for you now.
Words of wisdom or guidance.
What does your childhood self want you to know?
Take a moment to thank your childhood self for coming forth today.
As you and your childhood self begin to wave goodbye,
You smile with compassion.
Now begin to count backwards again now from 3.

When you're ready,
I ask you to open your eyes now slowly and come back into the room.
Very slowly start your throat.
