A guided meditation that teaches beginners in meditation and people who struggle to easily let go how to rapidly let go of tension, pain and discomfort on the physical, mental and emotional levels, leading to deep states of relaxation and spontaneous meditation. Letting go can feel like one of the hardest things to do, and yet it is one of the greatest things we can do for ourselves. Whatever has happened is the past and resisting it only keeps us feeling stuck and disempowered rather than consciously focusing on how to approach and respond to any situation so that we can optimize the outcome now and in the future. Through the exploration of our physical body and mind during meditation, we can become aware of where we normally hold tension and stress and release those over time so that we can become more relaxed, at peace, and therefore experience more joy and happiness in our lives.

Meditation of beginners letting go.

Find a comfortable place where you can sit on a chair or on the ground or simply lay down.

Close your eyes and intend to relax.

Inhaling through your nose,

Exhaling out of your mouth,

Slowing down,

Lengthening your breath.

Scanning your body from the top of your head all the way down to your toes for any place of contraction,

Tension,

Discomfort.

Breathing through the body.

As you inhale,

Inhale space,

Openness.

As you exhale,

Intend to create space.

Exhaling through your mouth and letting go.

Exploring the space of your body for any physical tension and intending to let go.

To release the tension.

To let go of the pain through your intention,

Through the breath.

Moving part by part.

Continuously letting go of tension.

Creating space in the physical body.

Letting the body expand and relax in response.

Now become aware of any thought present in your mind as you continue to dissolve the tensions in your physical body through the breath,

Through your intention.

Becoming aware of recurring thoughts,

Negative patterns of thinking.

With the intention of also letting this go.

Creating space in your mind.

Seeing this breath that is now circulating freely through the body into the space of your mind.

Replacing thought with breath through your intention.

Choosing to let go.

Creating the thoughts form and release without getting involved,

Without clinging.

Creating space in your mind.

Letting go of anything that does not serve you.

Feeling the space of your mind become more and more open.

With less thoughts.

Being aware of any negative emotions that are closing your heart right now.

Intending to let this go too.

Moving your awareness into the space of your heart.

Feeling however that space feels right now.

With the intention of relaxing,

Opening your heart.

Allowing for the negative emotions to come to the surface and release.

Dissolving through your intention,

Through breath as you create more and more space in your heart.

For emotions to surface and process out.

Sinking deeper and deeper into physical,

Mental,

Emotional relaxation as you let go on all levels of your being,

Through your intention,

Through the breath.

Creating space where there was contraction,

Tension.

Expanding the space of your body,

Your mind,

Your heart.

Feeling more and more relaxed,

More and more at peace.

Continuously choosing through your will,

Through your intention to let go.

Feeling physical sensations,

Dissolving thoughts,

Dissolving emotions as they come to the surface.

Feeling more and more relaxed with each and every breath.

Slowly begin to deepen your breath,

Wiggling your fingers and your toes and gently opening your eyes.
