Begin by bringing your awareness to your breath.

Notice how it feels as you inhale and exhale slowly.

Notice how it sounds on your inhale.

Notice how it sounds on your exhale.

Begin the subtle differences between your inhale and your exhale,

Without judgment,

Just awareness.

Try your best to slow the breath right now.

Inhaling deeply into the belly,

Filling it like a balloon,

And exhaling slowly,

Releasing the air from your belly,

Deflating that balloon.

Inhale pull air into the belly,

Exhale releasing air and having the belly come back inward towards the spine.

Try your best not to breathe too much into the chest,

Focusing on filling the belly with your inhale.

Your thoughts and emotions are temporary,

But the breath stays with you from the moment you enter this world,

Breathing in life,

Until the moment you leave this world,

Exhaling forward into the universe.

So give the breath,

The love and attention it deserves right now,

Teaching it,

Nourishing it,

Extending it.

While stress,

Trauma,

Or pain may change the breath by shortening or quickening it,

Know that you have the power to alter the breath with the conscious mind.

When you learn how to train your attention to focus on the breath,

You learn the language of your own nervous system,

Speaking to your body with the breath,

Slowing it,

Guiding it,

To a steady and stress-free state.

Take a few deep breaths on your own now,

Cherishing the sacred connection.

No matter what you are going through,

No matter what is happening in your mind or your body,

You can move through it.

Remember that thoughts and emotions are temporary,

But the breath stays with you as your most loyal and comforting friend.

You can better your state of being with the breath alone.

That is how powerful it is.

Continue to take time to focus in on your breath and how it feels.

Consciously deepening it,

Slowing it,

Inhaling deeply,

But then exhaling for longer than your inhale.

You can inhale for a certain amount of seconds and then exhale for double that time.

If you need help lengthening your exhale,

Try this now on your own.

We release a great deal of metabolic waste through respiration.

So imagine yourself releasing not only CO2,

Nitric oxide and toxins,

But also old and unnecessary energy,

Thoughts and emotions.

You can release these things from your body and from your mind with the breath.

Now inhale,

Imagining that fresh oxygen,

Energy and life force coming into your body,

Balancing your mind,

Your heart and your soul with its love and positivity.

Continue breathing deeply,

Bringing in feelings of comfort,

Calm,

Love and vitality and letting go of anything that does not serve you anymore.

Remember that giving and receiving love is like breathing.

The inhale is as equally important as the exhale.

So give and receive love in a balanced way.

Reminding yourself of your ability to create life,

To change life,

To improve life.

You have the power,

The strength and the innate ability to heal and calm yourself.

We're going to end by taking three deep breaths in through the nose and out through the mouth in your own time now.

You can return to the natural breath in and out through the nose as you continue to listen to the music,

Deepening your breath and continuing to bring your awareness to how it feels and to its power.

This has been Michelle from Me Time Meditations and Vinaural Beats.

Breathe beautifully my friends.

That was amazing. Seriously I had so much stress from today and when I clicked on yours and laid in bed and just listened to you and followed you it took it all away. And it gave me a body high. Thank you very much. I needed this tonight. For real. God bless you.
